The Detroit RiverWalkers is a walking club designed especially for seniors. The club will meet and walk along the Detroit Riverfront, at Rivard Plaza, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., during most Tuesdays and Thursdays in June, July and August. Participants will receive t-shirts, pedometers and other giveaways, with special guests and presentations featured throughout the summer.

Detroit Receiving is proud to be a sponsor of this long standing community event. Take a walk around one of Detroit's oldest communities, and tour some of the houses designed by Detroit's most distinguished architects. Be one of the first 200 visitors at the Detroit Receiving display table, and receive a free pedometer.

Belle Isle Casino
Fun, free community event has entertaiment, health screenings and activitives designed for children, adults and seniors. Special giveaways will be given to the first 1,500 children.
